Update: just went back for the pesto pasta and Francesco pizza and they were amazing. Definitely amazing food. Staff was very attentive and decor is very stylish. Nice small, space thay doesn't have the hustle of nearby eateries. The Campangola pizza, focaccia, and lentil soup were very well made and fresh. Great place for a sit down lunch. Will definitely return. Update: returned and got a Francesco and veggie pie. Highly recommended.
Heard so much of Levante and definitely did not disappoint. Great appetizers, better pizzas and next level cocktails. Beautiful spacious interior accented with 30’ ceiling. Choice of backyard dining when weather permits. Staff is very courteous and bartenders are very knowledgeable. I’ve nothing but praise for Levante.
Good pizza, great vibe. Went in solo for a late bite at the bar. Got a margherita with mushrooms - 21 - a little pricey for the portion but the spicy olive oil you can pour on yourself wins my forgiveness on that front. Also got a whiskey sour that was made well. Enjoyed the visit!
Awesome restaurant. Good service, cool venue in a three floor brick townhouse, pizza oven, bar, and outside patio with gas heaters. The pizza is amazing. We ordered the Levante and Alessia pizzas. They are so good. Come here for the pizza and the atmosphere, great find. I've been back to Levante at least five more times since they lut us at a hitel down the street. And every time I come back, I'm a happy fat kid because their pizzas are amazing. Their staff is always tentative and helpful, and the service is great.
An LIC gem. An amazing pizza and wine night! Plus, the appetizers make this an amazing night out. The beet appetizer was artistic and delicious! The octopus was a great portion for three and also delicious, loved the sauce and seasoning. The pizza was amazing!! We had the levante and then the margarita with garlic (prob would do the regular next time). Wine was good! Preferred the wine from Piedmont over the Super Tuscan. Looking forward to visiting again!
Went to Levante as it was close enough to my hotel and I needed some brunch. Got luck and went right at opening, so I had a majority of the restaurant to myself. I was served 3 dishes: 1) complimentary fresh focaccia bread with olive oil 2) pesto pasta that tasted very fresh and cooked to al dente 3) levante pizza the burrata on this pizza melts in your mouth and is heavenly. I would definitely recommend this spot just to try the levante pizza. It’s underrated!
Came in because I was craving for pizza! Ordered a marg and the diavola pizza with sausage add on. Pretty decent pizza, nice service as well. We booked a resy an hour before they opened and were seated quickly when we arrived. Would come back here again to try their pastas!
I was incredibly impressed by the food, service and speed of Levante. I was in NYC for about three months for work, and this was the first pizza I had there where I really enjoyed it over most pizzas I have eaten. I would highly recommend coming here. We went three times. The first time we ate on the back patio, and the two other times we ordered take away. Their pizza is great, their wine selection is good and their desserts are really yummy. I cannot recommend them enough!
